Abstract: Over the past years, MEMS devices (e.g. accelerators, gyros and magnetometers) have been widely incorporated as standard features in many consumer products, and the overall MEMS market is now close to USD 1.5 billion. Owning more than 50% of the market share, ST has been working closely with its customers to diversify the MEMS applications. In the mean time, such new MEMS devices as pico projectors, pressure and humidity sensors are taking the entire market to a new leap.
